now you have to try getting the numbers off the head unit the deck or screne itself on the inside of the car.

Have you talked to the previous owner?
it sounds like it is asking you for a "PIN" (personal identification number)
not a anti-theft security code.
Have you tried disconnecting the battery? Ask the dealer, or another source how to "reset" the navi. Maybe it is in a manual.

yes it ask for a PIN number.
I have tried all other methods except asking the previous owner. I haven't talked to them yet. well i will try that now. i hope he/she remember the PIN#.
but there should a method to "reset" the navi. I am still searching for it.

Finally HONDA customer support told me that they cannot provide me the previous owner info!!!
MY NAVI IS LOCKED BY A PIN NUMBER!!!!!!
i have no idea what to do now..is there any work around? i dont think sooo....crack PIN number?? hack into it...reset would help ???

you will have to have the deal do it for you as they can get it unlocked but they will charge you.

you may want to change it with an acura oem parts from racepages, its guaranteed to work..

Why dont you go to that dealer and try it. I dont think there is any other way....

If you have the manuals then try to check if there's an indicated serial to unlock it.If you can't find one,the best thing to do is go to the dealer where you bought your car and ask them to unlock it for you or give you the pin if permit so.

After disconnecting my battery I also had the radio lock up. Best solution to get a radio code I could find online was this service I used:
