So I bought an Acura..... the song goes. I bought it CPO w/24k miles on it and currently has 35k miles on it. Per forums and Acura detail this car was the last year produced and came with standard features and no options. My quest is for more power, for better acceleration and for better midrange punch. Not a racer but I do like more then posted BHP. Any suggestions, any vendors or outlets? Does Acura/Honda has a cure or procedure? Thank you.

This doesn't cost any money and takes no more than 5 minutes even if you are inept.

Just unlatch the air filter box, take the filter out, and just leave the box unlatched.

It will sound better (I didn't hear much of a difference until the car was actually rolling rather than just a quick couple revs) it has a little more low end, and i got and added 4-7 mph on my top end. Just dont leave it like that if its smogy, dirty, or windy out though.

As a disclaimer, *I am not by any means, a certified acura personel/employee/specialist. I've done this with my Grand Prix GTP, my old school 528e BMW, and on my rental Hyundai Elantra (that 4 banger sounded mean as **** haha) and just dont leave it like that for a long period of time, the filter is there for a reason!!! It wont be bad if you leave it off for a while, just make sure there is a decent condition with the the air outside for reasons involving the possibility of grogging out your intake to rob your *** of horsepower, and gas mileage.
