Default 2025 RDX Advance trim

Hello

My wife just picked up her new RDX, we are having an issue trying to save the seat memory positions. Cannot get the “Set” light to turn green so I can save either #1 or 2 position
when the car sits overnight I can get the light to come on
Am I missing something, or is there a way to clear everything out. I had seen a YouTube video showing to move the seats all the way forward back up and down does this on a Toyota

we appreciate all replies
Frank

There are a couple of key things in the sequence. I'm using the sequence for a 2022 RDX but I suspect the 2025 to be similar. Start by confirming a few settings.

Press the Home icon button on the center console. Select Settings on the display screen, then Vehicle, then Driving Position Setup, then Memory Position Link, and confirm it is ON.
There is a feature called Easy Exit, the feature that slides back the driver’s seat automatically when the vehicle is off: Press Settings on your display screen, then Vehicle, the Driving Position Setup, then Seat Position Movement at Entry/Exit, and press ON if desired.. Your driver’s seat should the have the ability to adjust accordingly when you start and stop your Acura.

Now, on to the fob. First of all make sure only the fob to be programmed is in the vehicle and the other fob is at least 10 feet away from the car. Don't have any cell phones nearby Note the fobs are numbered for convenience but I use those numbers to identify the primary and secondary driver when programming. So for fob #1...Adjust the driver’s seat and mirrors to the desired position. You probably can also adjust things like the driver preferred temperature

Push the SET button on the driver door panel. You should see blinking green lights underneath the memory buttons numbered 1 and 2.

Within 5 seconds, push button #1 The blinking should stop and your preference will be saved.

The 5 second interval is critical; wait too long as you have to go back to the start.

Repeat for driver and fob #2.

Note tha many things can be uniquely programmed and saved to a fob. See page 363 in the manual. But get the basic programming down first then move on to the other settings.

Default Memory Seats not working

Thank You John

Yes all the items you point out have been confirmed as correct. I contacted the dealer, here is the procedure to rest & clear the Memory Seats. I will post if this works
FROM THE DEALERTo summarize it

1. you need to hold the down button on the lumbar switch while the key is off

2. then press the start button 2 times to turn it on (don't be stepping on the brake)

3. Let go of the down button once the dash is lit up

4. Press the start button again to turn everything off

5. Repeat steps 1 thru 4 a total of 4 times (in my experience it sometimes takes 5 total times)

6. You know it reset when all 3 lights on the door light up for a few seconds.

It is super tricky, but you won't hurt anything trying it.
