I'm just new.


I bought a 1990 teg RS couple of weeks ago and love it so far. it needs some maintenance. It's in the shop right now getting a used auto tranny installed because it grinds all the time especially in reverse and there is no reverse. It takes almost 15 minutes to warm up enough to shift out of low and it never goes into O/D. Hopefully the used tranny works out good. I had a 1989 Honda Accord for 16 years but it rotted out recently so I replaced it with this teg. I live in Canada where they salt the roads in the winter and car bodies don't last. This teg I bought came up from Florida two years ago so it's in pretty good shape body wise with just a couple of dents. I'd like to replace the hood and left fender then it would look like a brand new car again.


I hope to gain alot of info off this site as I enjoy working on my own cars. I've just posted twice on the older models "Integra" forum. Have a look.
