MDX random codes

MDX random codes
I hope I am posting this in the right area If not I apologise.
My check engine light comes on with multiple cyl midfire codes then goes thru its drive cycles and the light goes off for a few days. Then it comes back on again with totaly different random codes like cyl 1 cyl 3 cyl 6 misfire. Every time it comes back on its different cyl codes. And every time it comes on the vtm light comes on with it. It seems like they both come on when the car is on a slight incline. I changed the spark plugs with genuine acura plugs. I am wondering if a bad coil would cause this? Any ideas would be a big help.
