ok here is my issue that has been following me for a year now... I have a 98 Integra GS-R with a b18c1 in it. I have changed some things... New Integra Type R 11.5:1 forged pistons, machined out head and valves,DC sports header to stock cat (due to emmissions laws) finishing with a RSR cat-backexhaust, AEM V2 intake, lowered, rims, new Formula red S2000 paint and a other things but my main issue is that i am tripping a check engine light and since NY sucks i have to pass emmissions laws and there is NO way around it... i am pulling the "catalyst below efficiency" code which means i am not cleaning the exhuast enough by the time it exits the cat... i am wonder if its due to the higher pistons and still GS-R cat, which leads me to believe i can probably get away with a TYPE R cat because i cant do anything else to this engine until 1. i fix this headache or 2. i move out of the state (which isnt gonna happen soon) so does anyone know if the TYPE R cat will just bolt up and function properly???? any thought will help!!!
