Yet another How-To Article: Changing the Spark Plugs on a '01 MDX
Hey all,
I know that my threads are not as informative nor as entertaining as the kernels of wisdom present in forum member Blossom's threads but hopefully someone will prosper from this walk-through documenting the procedure for replacing the spark plugs on a '01 MDX
1) Remove the intake manifold cover (A) and ignition coil cover (B).

2) Disconnect the Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) actuator connector (A), then remove the IMRC actuator (B).

3) Remove the ignition coils.
4) Remove the spark plugs. Refer to this MDX ignition system diagram if you need a frame of reference.
To install:
1) Install the spark plugs and tighten to 13 ft. lbs. (18 Nm).
2) Install the ignition coil.
3) Connect the negative battery cable.
4) Start her up to see if she runs!
