Still Yet Another DIY Article- Replacing the Headlight Assemblies on a '06 MDX
Howdy guys!
A customer of mine brought in his '06 MDX and requested that I replaced the headlight because a rock was kicked up by a semi-truck and totally destroyed the assembly. Let this be a lesson not to tailgate big trucks on highways, right?
Anywhoo, here is the procedure for replacing the headlights on a MDX:
1) Remove the front bumper. Yes, really. But it's not too bad if you refer to this illustration:
2) Disconnect the connectors (A) from the headlight (B).
3) Remove the six mounting bolts, then remove the corner upper beam (C) and headlight assembly. (refer to this MDX headlight diagram)
4) Install in the reverse order of removal.
5) After replacement, adjust the headlights to local requirements.
6) You're finito!
