Default Adding Bluetooth to MDX

I am considering adding a Parrot CK3100 BT device to my 03 MDX. My concern is that the MDX mutes all speakers when barking directions at the driver. The Parrot allows for hands free conversations through one channel of the sound system. I assume if I were to install this and be on the phone, the nave would mute my call while it spoke to me. Does anyone know if this is true, or is there is a workaround to stop the nave from muting all speakers?

I have always hated that it does that anyway.

It is great news that Bluetooth could be added to MDX. It is really nice to use this kind of technology in a unique way.

I gave up and recently sold that car. After 11 years of ownership I could never get past the fact that Acura let ME pay for a new transmission at 74000 miles. Yes out of the 60000 mile warranty but a complete transmission failure before the first recommended service? Come on man!
