Type 2 swap...

I have a BHG and now i'm looking @ replacing the whole motor, but with a type 2 or a RL motor. Any tips on what I have to do to make these function properly with no problems, such as changing the Engine harness or ECU? My car is a 92 Sedan LSin 5spd.
