I have a 1989 Acura Legend. The other day, the headlight chime just stopped working. So now if I have the car off, open the door with the headlights on, no chime. This leads to dead batteries.


Besides the obvious fix of me being less of a dummy and turning off my headlights on my own, anyone know how to diagnose where the chime went wrong or how to fix it?
