My '82 Legend, very infrequently, will turn over but not start. After it sits for a while, it will start. I am wondering if this might be an indication that the fuel pump is failing and if there is a way to diagnose the problem.

Also, I have looked at the in line manual which does not give any guidance I can find on replacing the pump. It apparently is in the fuel tank and I am wondering if this is a complicated procedure and where I could get guidance on doing it.

Thanks to all in advance!

I believe that the first thing you may want to look into is your Fuel Pump Relay..Call your local parts supply house and see if they have one for you.
