It is the throttle position sensor. The light goes on only when warm. Could it be soldering problems like the starting relay over the steering tube ???

 

You need to put in the year,make,model and trans and engine size for more information..Engine ..what litre?

Sorry; It is a Acura Legend 1990 2.7 LS sedan automatic V6 with 100000 mi . The car runs perfect even if the check engine is on .. which happens only when the motor is hot ; if the light didn't show, you would'nt know that there is a problem. The replacement part comes complete with the air v olume sensor and costs 700$ As the trouble happens only when the motor is hot I suspect a soldering problem like the main starting relay over the steering tube. I really appreciate any suggestion youy can give me. Thanks.
