I have a pretty beat up '94 Legend & it doesn't turn off even if the key is out of the car. I have to "disconnect the coil" & the battery needs to be taken out in order for it to turn off. Also, it was smoking & I have no idea why. Could anybody be of some help?

thinking it's a bad ignition, stuck relay, someone's messed with the wiring under the dash.. or.. uh.. *thinking* i'd have to hear it...
