Hi- I'm a new guy here,and I bought a 1989 Legend 2.7 V6,5 speed , that I have been trying to "restore".It belonged to a doctor, and was a parking lot car,(he left it at the hospital,for a cheap ride).it now has 108,000 miles,and due to an unfortunate incident with a mechanic,it now needs a new transmission.The gearset is lunched,and my trans guy can not find one.I think the bearings,(on the mainshaft ), failed.
What should I do?Does anyone have a good used gearset,or transmission, that I can buy?
Sorry , the car is a 2.7, with 4 doors, and is a base model, with cloth interior.
On a different note, what are the best shocks for these cars?I am looking for comfort, and decent handling.Does Biolstien make shocks for our cars?

your best bet is to keep look for that trans or swop to a auto! the manul trans for legends are dealer only unless you find a used 1! try ebay or any parts store for the shocks. Edited by: L3GDKANG/JDM-KA
