ok i am confused about this.


After i turn off the car... the side air bag light on the dashboard keeps blinking. what does that mean???





and when i first start the car it says maintenance required.. then it shuts off.

 

the side air bags is just a weight sensor that could have went bad if you dive second gen Tl is is covered under a recall. The maintenance required light is when you haven't had an oil change for if no one reset the mant. light after you had maintenace done.

What color is the light. Green maybe. the green light is the only light that blinks after key is turned off.
If you have a side air bag light blinking after the key is turned off, you have strange problem. And by the way AGIGOHMTL it's not a recall. It's a warranty extension up to 150k only if the SRS light comes on. There is a recall some 2000 3.2 TL passengers airbag, but nothing to due with any light.
