a b18gsr with hydro tranny.............will a cable b series trans bolt right up. my buddy is lookin into buying a gsr for his 92 ls.........his trans just blew up by the shift linkage.....so he wants to spend the money for a whole gsr.........so could he just swap over the cable linkage stuff to the hydro one? thanks

a 94 b18gsr will bolt up to a cable trans. i my self have been pondering about doing a motor sway for my 91.

u will need the hydralic resivior along with mounting it its almost like the brakes

my buddy wants to keep it cable, so he dont need that hydro stuff. should be able to just put the cable sh*t on the trans and take off the slave and stuff on it right?

hmmmm

pedal assemblys are a bit different as well as firewall reinforcements to hold that cable housing

also need to check your front motor mount i rember seeing a request for juice or cable tranz when ordering mounts.

there is also a spline change on the clutch disk from 20 -21 in 1991/1992

but if hes got the whole swap that wont matter.



wish i had a yes/no answer for you.
