I just bought my 94 integra GSR and Im not very familiar with acuras. So my first question is when I try to get into 5th gear its hard and when I try to get out of it its hard as well, but as soon as I stop and take off again and get up to 5th gear it shifts into it perfectly could this be caused by low fluid levels? My friend says his car does it as well when his fluid is low but I want another opinion. My other question is can I use just plain trans. fluid or do I need to use a special mix? My friend said that I need to use a special mix thatonly acura dealerships sell. And my final question is where do I put the fluid in at? Any help would be appreciated.

I had a b18c5 motor and trans in my last car. I was having the same problem. Tried honda trans fluid and it didn't fix it. I found the miracle cure for all your shifting problem. "B G syncroshift." That stuff is unbelievable. I had shift problems in third and fifth. put this b g syncroshift in and drove that car another 45000 (thousand) miles and never had another shifting issue. It is a little expensive at$34 for 3 qt.but worth every penny. I know this will help you. good luck.

By the way. I dida tonof research before buying this product. It is highly recommended by the car world. (especially mitsubishi and honda.)

Ok I guys I have another problem. My tranny leaks out fluid. I looked under the car and its none of the screws are bad, gaskets are good, I cant find where its leaking from. My friend it said most likely its the boot by shift linkage but I dont know for sure. Any opinions?

jdmteg90 is right. probably the axle seals. luckily they are easy to replace.... well, easier than a gasket.

Well I just got it checked and they said that it was over filled. I'll check the seals and everything later so.
