hey there, i'm new to the forums so excuse me if i post this in the wrong section.

I have purchased some new altezza style lights for my 94 integra.

here's a link to them

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/94-01...EGRA-2DR-SMOKE -LED-ALTEZZA-TAIL-LIGHTS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33716QQi hZ010QQitemZ200110573302QQrdZ1

a problem i have run into to is this. the led's have their own connector, an orange and a black wire. i believe that they are supposed to be my running lights but the original connection has a green, red and a black wire. The stupid box didn't come with installation instructions so i'm a tiny bit lost.

i'm thinking that the red (original) and orange (led) wires should be spliced together. I don't want to start messing with it a screw something up thou.

any help would be appreciated.

I would contact the seller and ask him for a wiring document from the company.

Let us know what he does for you about it!

It took me a minute of thinking, but i figured it out. there are 4 light connections in the original setup. i had to remove one, the side running light and splice in the LED. that took care of the problem.

sometimes it just pays to reconsider the problem

As a side note to this project, remove power via the negative battery cable or you will blow your fuse when you splice! HID headlights are a GREAT upgrade. They really lightup the road

And yes, do as AkinDen recommends you do 1st, must disconnect the Negative battery cable always when working on your car...except when trying to find shorted wiring....I Think
