Replacing tranny...suggestions

Hello,
I am replacing a manual trans for my friend on his 1994 acura integra. It has the SOHC engine I believe. I was wondering what tranny I need for this. Will any civic or accord tranny work...or does it have to be from a 94 or newer integra? Any info would be great.
