My car is making a deep Rumbling sound, any ideas on what would cause it? The deep sound almost sounds as if I put new exhaust on my car that some of the younger guys run around with. But I've done nothing to it and it's starting to worry me. I'm a total novice. I tried changing the air filter but that had no effect [img]smileys/smiley19.gif[/img]. Any suggestions would be great

take it to a muffler shop and have it checked.

im betting on a cracked rusted out muffler.

thats what i would do. i had that problem with an old ford that the wife used to have. it actually make it sound like it had a pair even though it might have had a half of BALL....lol.
