Your gunna do better off if you just swap out the whole engine, because the heads cost jsut as muhc as a new engine wiht 40k on it.I've looked into it myself and found that the gsr engine will be my best choice becuase it will give more horsepower.

Good luck

yea its definitely possible to do it...and easier than a whole engine swap. But if your looking for better performance, its not going to do as well as a gsr engine, and it will cost you pretty much the same price. Also the wiring gets tricky in some spots on the ls head swap.Edited by: afrohm35

If you want tons of power then go with the lsvtec cuz thats what i got and it kicks ***. you can buy a nice head from a civic or gsr on ebay for arond 5-600 bucks.(thats what i did). but if u want to do it right u will need to get new rods, conversion kit($200) and if u want to get all that u can get some pistons and cams too. thats what i did. makin bout 240@ 9000rpmto the flywheel. if u dont build it right u will have tons of problems with it. (snapped rods, piston going throgh the cylinder wall. o ya and if u want something that is fast as hell and gets good mpg go with a yamaha r6.lol
