ABS light...help..
#1
the abs light is on a 97 integra 4dr auto. how do I turn it off, I had the back brakes done and it came on afterwards , so I did the front brakes and the light is still on, how do I turn off that damn light? should I just disconnect the battery?

to be honest with you. I hate ABS. If the lite is on, that simply means the ABS system isn't gunna work. Feel fortunate! The easiest way to get the light to go away is to pull out your gauge cluster and remove that bulb. You will never see the light again. It should only take about 15 minutes to do.... good luck

If the light is on, the ABS hasturned themselves off. Ihave a 90 integra GS and the light has been on for 4 years. If you read a store bought manual there is an led somewhere on your car that you should be able to read the blips and bleeps to diagnos what the issue is. Either way you will probably have to take it to a dealer to have the issue solved. The light does not come on in time of need for a brake job.

If you want to get rid of the problem all-together just get rid of your ABS system. I have a 94 GSR and my light has been on ever since I bought it. If you go to honda-tech.com there are alot of people with the same problem and most of them just remove the system.
