94 Integ Starter Probs

jus got a 94 Integ. Starter seemed to not work a week ago. Put in a new car alarm with the auto start and started the car fine for a while, now it takes a few trys to get it started. Do I need to replace the starter? Ignition? If I cont. to use the auto start will I make to problem worst?
