Hi, I'm working on a 93 Acura Integra and I have a brake problem I'm trying to figure out and was wondering if anyone has dealt with these.
I put a new master cylinder on it because the pedal would drop to the floor at a complete stop and it was leaking out the back a bit. The rest of the system is fine-no leaks. I made sure I bench bled the master before I put in in and then I bled all the calipers.
When I disconnect the vacuum line from the booster I have a nice firm pedal. When I hook it up, pedal is spongy and almost goes to the floor. Is it possible the diaphram in the booster ruptured from the leaky master cylinder? Is there any other way to test these things? I want to make sure because a new one is expensive. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
