I have just bought the car from a freind that was moving and I was wondering If it would be possible for me to drop an H22 or just go out and try and find a GSR motor and if i get the GSR motor will I need to get another Tranny to or can the 5speed tranny just hook up to the GSR motor? Any help would be nice or any other motor suggestions

Your gonna need the GSR's tranny, ECU, Wiring harness, and prob thewhole frontsuspension. The GSR's motor is getting harder to aquire. If you want N/Apower, get the K20A1 (RSX type S). It has a six speed tranny, andwouldgive you a killer power to weight ratio. Thecheapest route might be a JDM B18B1 and a 45 shot of NOS. Any bigger of a shot and you'll should strenghten the motors internals. Hope I was some help. Good luck!

Oh yea on the H22 motor, that thing is heavy. So you'll need to boost it (turbo or supercharger)to get good thrust. If your gonna boost somthing boost the B18B1. It's lighter and costs less.
