I hAVE A gs with an auto trans.





When i stop my car and put it into park i'm unable to turn off my car and pull out the key. It's not until my dash has the P illuminated. Note this happens mostly when cold. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

 

If you take apart your center consol, you'll see that there is like a lever that moves along what looks like a electronic board...if that isn't hitting each electronic position, it won't light up in the dash and it reads as it's not in park...you can try that...happened to me before.
