wheel hub removal

i have a 1990 acura integra 4dr and im pretty sure that my drivers side bearing is close to bein toast, but i cant seem to get the nut off the drive axle. ive punched it out of the groove but its on there real tight.... can anyone help me need to fix it fast snoop dogg and ice cube concert on friday

have you tried using a hand impact and hitting it with a 3-4 pound smallsledge hammer? also heating it with a torch?can you post a picture?Edited by: AKinDen

I did this once.


I used a 3/4 inch drive socket, a 1 inch to 3/4 inch drive adapter and a 1200 ft-lb torque meter with extention bar. The nut came loose at about 475 ft-lb.


Don't bother to use any puny 1/2 drive stuff; it will just break.


Have somebody hold the breaks.
