My 2004 TSX is losing oil at the rate of 2-3 quarts per 5000 miles. It isn't leaking on my driveway and there isn't any smoke coming out of the tailpipe.

The dealer has run compression and other tests and cannot find the source of the disappearance.

has anyone else had a similar problem?

ok cool vanishing oil

where could it go if its not leaking out a seal onto the ground???

or out the tail pipe???

well there is a ugly thought. is there oil in the
radiator? (coolent system)....na im sure the dealer would have
looked there.

on my old legend my power steering fluid was vanishing.

i found out where it went once the transmission started leaking out of
the vent tube. the power steering speedo pressure
controller was leaking p/s fluid into the transmission.

but your engine oil doesnt go anywhere odd like that.

let us know what it is, if you find out.
