Default Trunk light no power

I have a 97 EL 1.6l and I know it's a small problem but I have no power going to the trunk light. I checked the bulb and removed the harness and checked it with a multimeter, no power. I checked my fuses, the all seem ok. Checked the Haynes manual, no help. Does anyone know which fuse it's on or how it is activated? I assume when the truck latch is open, it turns on. I checked all the wiring I could see and it all seems ok. All my tail lights including the 3rd light in the spoiler and they all work and can open my truck with the FOB and with the trunk release lever. I have no other electrical problems.

I fixed it by simply spraying the trunk latch clean with contact cleaner as it was gunked up a bit. I figured it was not registering the trunk was open, so no light. Now the dash light indicating the trunk is open and and the trunk light work as they should.
