Hi there. I am trying to change the engine air filter on my girlfriend's 1999 RL but for some reason the top doesn't want to come off. Is there a trick to it that I am not aware of? I unfastened the 4 clips that supposedly hold the top to the bottom but when I try to lift the top I can barely get it open it in the front - maybe like half an inch or so - as if something is holding it at the other end. I could probably just pry it open but I'm afraid to break something in there. So... Any ideas? Thanks much.
