gsr
hi to all. iam new to the sceen and i was wondering what is the difference between integra gsr and a ls or gs integra? is the gsr faster, does it better motor? and also would it be hard to mod it up to keep up or cobras ( not the 03-04 ) and camaro z-28s? also how much would i be looking at to do all of these mods? thanks in advance.
haha. hell yeah they are badass. I havea 96 GSR. i just put an AEM V2 cold air in there. get 4-2-1 headers, exaust, and a cold air. that'll open up ur V-tec. GSR's have V-tec(170HP Stock), Ls and Gs Models don't have em stock. Get a turbo kit, for about 5-7 Gz, and some new HKS Cams, Faulken Alezzinas tires, and a new triple plate clutch, then ur all set. i'm sure u can hang w/ cobras then. Go to www.tremek.com for more information on em. those guys are badass
If you still care. Yes the GSR is faster it has on average 1sec less et time for 1/4 mile then the LS. You should do an LS/Vtec motor then turbo it with a t3/t4 or maybe a T25 or T28. The GSR has awsome top end power, and under piston oil squirters, but the block is only cast aluminum and the LS block is Forged which mean the LS block can hold more boost safely. You could build a very quick teg for around $7K which will be able to eat some of the V8's around town...

hey guy i have a 98 GS-R and i live in germany so i can confirm the top end power notion posted by whtintegrals. i drive it to work on the autobahn daily and havehit anywhere from 130 to 145 MPH. and all i have is a CAI, DC Headers, Nologys, and an Apexi N1. but i tell you what when that vtec kicks in it is awsome. i take out stock SRT-4's on a regular basis
