I recently obtained a 1994 Acura Legend GS Coupe, when I got the car the pedal would just drop to the floor, no pressure. I followed the trouble shooting guide in the repair manual and replaced the Clutch Master Cylinder, removing the old one and replacing it was a relatively simple task, after installation I went to bleed the clutch, nothing ever comes out of the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder at all, I have completely removed the valve, still nothing.

I also tried bleeding the system before I replaced Clutch Master Cylinder, nothing came out of the bleeder then either.

Could it be a bad Slave Cylinder? Is there an easy way to check if it is the slave? I think I might have jumped the gun replacing the Master Cylinder and want to better diagnose the problem before I replace the slave.

Any advice would be great.

My thoughts would be the previous owner filled it up knowing there was a leak somewhere. You dont need to bleed it unless it was just changed recently, air doesn't just get into that system mysteriously. I would go to a tranny shop that does a free inspection and see what the problem is and then determine if you can tackle the job yourself or let a professional repair it for you.
