Question Beeps?

Hey guys! I'm new here, and posting for a friend, so my information is limited.

What I do know is that my friend has a 1997 Acura TL 2.5. It's a total P.O.S. in my opinion, but I suppose it gets him where he needs to go. It's got bad O2 sensors, bad brakes, a possibly bad alternator, broken door, busted out left front turn signal, a short somewhere that causes sporadic operation of the radio and bad shocks. I'm including all this info merely to assist in diagnosis of this issue. He says it runs, but it gives him 4 beeps in rapid succession at start. Does anybody know what this could mean?

inb4 "don't waste your money just buy a new car"

Thanks!
E. R. J.

You should at least get it checked at an auto repair shop! If you happen to be in the area, I know of a good place called Stan's Automotive in Lafayette, Colorado. Here is their website where you can schedule online appointments: http://www.stansautomotive.com
