95 legend trouble shooting, Please help!
I have a 95 legend l that's about to hit the 200,000 mile mark! I am having trouble getting it to start up on the first turn of the key consistently. Sometimes it will fire right up and other times it takes 20 to 30 tries before it finally starts up. I have put a brand new battery in it, but it didn't help. I am beginning to think it's either the starter box or the ignition. Everytime I turn the ignition and it doesn't start I hear a click, when it doesn't start. Any suggestions on what this might could be? Anyone experienced this same problem? Is this an easy fix I can do myself? Thanks for your alls time and help trouble shooting!

Had similar symptoms on my 96 TL...
turned out to be a bad starter motor. In my case, I had a shop replace it because the starter was hidden behind the left front suspension. I was going to have to mostly disassemble the suspension and take the half shaft out to get to the starter motor. It got swapped out and haven't had a problem with it since. 115K miles.
Normally a starter motor replacement is a DIY, but some demented engineer really went crazy on packaging the ancillaries on this engine.
