1990 integra Ls just cranks but won't start. Not sure if it's gas or fuel problem yet. Looking for any sugesstions. New to owning this car and have not worked on one of these before. Any help would be appreciated. Also a reasonable parts supplier other than the factory.

Thanks, kcwhunter

turn the ignition key to ON (dont crank the engine) pay attention you should hear the fuel pump working for a few senconds follow by a CLICK from the main relay located under the steering column....i believe that relay primes the engine with fuel... i would start there...

take a look at he distributer. the pionts on it may messed up or the metal tab on the rotor may need to be bent outward some to catch the pionts better. check the plugs and plug wires. if what 2kTL says checks out good then try what i suggested... im sort of having the same problem with this ladies truck that lives down the road....except i finally got the truck to run but the damn thing doesnt have enough power to go faster than 1-2 mph. if anyone has any suggestions for what tpo do for this truck e-mail me at nosaj81_2004@yahoo.com ...and yes i know i probably should not have posted this here but the guys teggy sounds like it having the same startup problem as this truck. the truck is a mazda B2200for anyone who thinks they may be able to help me out as well.
