I am new not only to this Forum but also to CLs. I've owned this 1997 Acura CL 3.0 for a couple of months now. I started by cleaning it out, then I removed the wing, badges, replaced the Valve cover gaskets, coolant resevoir, replaced the batter and terminals, changed spark plugs, oil change, wires distributor, I lowered it, new wheels and all. It always had a bad idle, but recently it has gotten alot worse. The idle is really low, it sputters at red lights and stop signs almost like it wants to stall, Its been having trouble starting, sometimes it wont even start and every once in a while when it starts up plumes of white smoke flow out of the exhaust for a good 10-15 minutes. Does anyone have any advice on what this could possibly be?
