I have a 2003 Acura CL with headlgiht problems. My headlight went out a couple of months ago and I installed a new bulb, but that didn't solve the problem. The dealership told me that it was the ignitor and that it would cost around $1000 for this to be fixed. I need to know if anyone else has heard of this, b/c I haven't found much online about this problem. Please help! Thanks.

 

it because your cl has H.I.D. lights (high intensity discharge) it is alot like a welder in each headlight.

or like a florrecent bulb in the celling and the ballest is in need of replacing.

and used those parts are hard to find.

you may be up a creak with the dealership.
