Acura 1999 CL 2.3 transmission f-up
Hi all,
I was on the way back to home from 150 miles away, and my 1999 CL 2.3 started to acting up. I felt something was not normal when I was in city traffic with regular stop lights. At the red lights, after I stepped my foot on the break, the transmission acting like it was shifting into something with violent shaking (shifting). Around 40 miles after, the automatic transmission was never able to go faster than 45m/h. No matter how much I applied pressure on the gas paddle, the RPM went high almost to the red part. Then I felt like it tried to shift into another gear, but it never did. It got worse and worse. After a stop for red light, it did not response (few second delayed) to my foot on the gas paddle. The car was shaking like I am a beginner with the manual stick shift. Anyway, is there any thing I can do before I replace the transmission? Please let me know if you see a used transmission for Acura 1999 CL 2.3 or have one. Thanks
