I'm experiencing a vibration on a brand new 2007 TSX. Vibration is worse in the 55-65 MPH zone. I can feel it in other speeds, but most noticeable here. The steering wheel vibrates, can feel it resonate up my arms, my legs vibrate too. The dealer states everything within specs. It saddens me to think this 4 cyl engine would have such a vibration especially brand new. I'm lost as to what to do since the dealer says no problem. I'm not liking this car. By the way I had another 2007 TSX that was totaled within 1 wk of owning, it didn't vibrate, neither have the dealers loaner cars done this to the extent mine does. Any suggestions? < src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-41";

have the tires checked for ballance. all you had to do was toss 1 weight.

Will this tire imbalance cause problems or damage if left unfixed?

i just recently had this problem too. all it ended up being was that my tires needed to be balanced.

yes tires left unballenced will flat spot a tire and wear out shocks .

its just like driving down a bumpy road its entire life. and doing so will wear out your entire car.

My 06 drives very smoothly normally, but it began vibrating like this right after hitting a huge pothole.So it is definitely due to hitting bumps and stuff- especially if you hit a big one.

I was wondering if anybody can confirm what needs done to fix this problem. Is it a tire balance as already mentioned, or is it an alignment, or what? Give us other opinions if you have the knowledge...

thanx

I would go with the tire balance first. it is probably going to be the cheapest in terms of money and that is probably all it is.

Ok, I just got serviced today for the vibration after hitting two large potholes. It bent my wheel rim and put a bubble in my tire (ruined it). Anyway, I needed a new wheel, a new tire, and an alignment. The wheel was $420, the tire was $200, and the alignment was $90. After service, the total cost was 797 AKA 800 dollars. I felt like a BMW driver for a second after shelling that out. I also have very minor permanent damage on my front right.

My point is that the vibrations or shaking you experience can be one or more of many problems. As you noticed, if your wheel is bent, you'll pay lots. DON'T HIT POTHOLES... it's not worth it. Also, GET SERVICED ASAP AFTER NOTICING VIBRATIONS. you'll have permanent damage.
