I am new to this forum and am currently in the process of buying an Acura TSX 05. The car I am currently looking at is a manual one (acura certified) that I am very interested in. However, the car has been keyed on one side completely along the entire length of the car. I can try to get the car at a lower price or get a paint job done to take care of it. This vehicle is at an acura certified dealership and they said that they can do a really good paint job compared to places outside. So my specific questions are:
1. Since the paint job is for one side of the car to take care of the scratch, how different would it look compared to the original paint on the rest of the car? Would it look too diffferent? Also, with time will the different paints weather/age/fade differently?
2 Will this paint job affect its resale value later on?

I would really appreciate your inputs on these questions as soon as you can as I would need to make a decision soon on the car.
