Hi everyone,

My name is Mike and I'm a newbie here. I have been seriously considering buying a new TL or TSX in the near future and was hoping to get some feedback. I was wondering if owners of the current TSX could respond to some of the following questions:

1. Does the TSX exhibit any squeak or rattle problems? (I'm hyper-sensitive to those!)
2. Is the transmission smooth-shifting?
3. Is the car quiet (road noise and engine noise)?
4. How would you describe the smoothness of the ride?
5. I sad I'd never buy another car with a 4 cyl. engine. Is the 4cyl. in the TSX quiet? Does it deliver power smoothly? How does it compare to the 6cyl.? Any 4cyl. car I've driven is always slow and sounds like its going to explode when I gun it.
6. Do Acura service departments operate by insisting that unless they can replicate the problem, it doesn't exist? I have a Hyundai now and that's Hyundai's MO.

Just purchased an 06 TSX 2 days ago.Though its a pre owned it had low miles and the car was in perfect condition.This was a big step up for me goin from an 04 civic ex to this car.Car is pretty quiet i would say yes to all your questions,no noise ,rides smooth,definetly has some power and a very luxurious car i call it the younger brother of the TL lol
