Hey guys,

I just bought a certified preowned Acura TSX 2005 and enjoy it very much. I am new to the forum as well.

Here's my question, if I have an iPod, how can I cleanly connect it to my car?
I looked into the problem myself and don't really want to do it through
FM transmitter (seems like there'll be lose of sounds quality and
stuff), I wanna be able connect it to some kind of cable. Can someone
give me any advice on the issue? I would appreciate it very much.

Thanks in advance,

Hello i have a 2005 TSX and i just called the dealership where i got my acura from and they said Apple recalled the iPod integration kit so there are no integration kits for the 2005 TSX as of right now... maybe you could call an acura dealership in your area....
www.acura.com
at the top right hand side enter your zip code and itll show you the closest Acura Dealership

I am dieing for one of these so please keep me posted because i want one of the integration kits for my 2005 TSX

Thanks in Advance
Eddie

Here's the problem with ipod integration: Many kits do not allow all three modes of control- which you should make sure to get. These three modes of control are as follow:

1.) with radio-buttons
2.) with the steering wheel controls
3.) with the ipod itself (!!!)

You want to make sure you can control your ipod during musicplay using all of these. Number 3 above is the most important because you only need one interface to control your ipod; that's why you bought an ipod (disc+interface) and not just a hard disc. That's right, you only need ONE interface to operate ONE disc, but it would still be nice to have steering-wheel and radio-button controls. So take a look at this product... maybe you'll like it.

Here you go linkThis is the one I have. It works with the steering wheel, radio controls, and the iPod itself. Its kind of expensive but I love it. It does require some installation but I'm sure you can search for a step by stepinstallation guide. So the USA Spec PA11-HON2yis the way to go for all you guys who want a good iPod player.

I forgot. I there are two little switches that you must adjust before installation and one of them will allow you to access playlists without touching your iPod but you have to name the playlist in a certain way (this is all described in the manuel). I'm not positive but I think if you select this mode then you can't use the iPod to select stuff. So choose the other method (if you want to use your iPod controls) but then you have to chose the playlists through the ipod but it's no big deal. It'll explain all of this in the manual sut I'm just giving you a heads up.
