Intermittent hesitation

I posted back in July.. and to my surprise I got no replies at all, though 168 views. The service folks 'can't duplicate the problem'...so I still have the issue and frankly sometimes it verges on ...dangerous.

When I'm coasting into an intersection at very slow speed, wanting to turn the corner, but not quite at a full stop... as soon as I step on the gas it hesitates for a second. Always happens when I'm just turning a corner after slowing

Has anyone experienced this problem?. I always get premium gas only...and this happens at least a few times a week and at times can be dangerous.

I had that problem with my very first car, an 89 Honda, that would stutter and then accelerate forward when slowing down at stop lights. Same thing happened when I would try and accelerate and it felt like I was pushing the gas pedal down a little too far to get it going at a modest speed. The mechanics reproduced the same thing, although it took two or three visits until it finally did it.

That was about 10 years ago, and if memory serves me, they fixed the water pump and flushed my fuel line. Not that that would be a similar fix, but it worked for a while until the car finally gave out on me a couple years later. It had a LOT of miles on it :(.

Hope you find a solution to it, and if nothing else, get a second opinion on it from the same mechanic or try your hand at another one.
