I have a 2009 TSX and I boned out went passed the RPM or w.e. for a few seconds trying to race my friend's Honda Accord. When I pulled into my garage, my car smelled like burned rubber, but is it bad for the car? I have never actually full on accelerated my car, and IIRC you have to wait until like 3000 miles before you can. Anyways, thanks guys...I hope my engine isn't f**ked up. Edited by: KangsterTSX |
your engine is not f**ked up... dont worry... just dont do it again until u get about 6000 miles on it... and put some performance parts on...

The TSX engine is a tough muther f***er. That's why I don't drive a Corolla haha. The burned rubber is just your tires... not the engine.

i just bought a aftermarket OEM direct bolt on fog lights for my 04 tsx... when i took it to a shop, they said that they have to take out the whole front bumper to replace it and they are going to charge me $100.00.. does anyone know anything about that?? my friend is a mechanic and he told me that i shouldnt have to take out the whole bumper to replace it but he is not sure either... some mechanic he is..
