2005 Acura TSX, question; does anyone know the cause for
turn signal, remote opener, power locks and audible dash sound failure, once
the outside temperature goes above 26ºC, or 78ºF. </span>This has not been a problem over the past
three years, until Acura performed some recall work on the fuel pump last month. </span>A relay switch needed to be replaced in the
fuel pump. </span>Took the vehicle into Acura, they
couldn’t find the problem and possibly attributed the failure to remote car
starter. </span>The dealer for CompuSTAR,
remote car starter, suggested disconnecting the car starter. </span>Did that and the problem still persisted.



Any ideas!

My Acura Dealer is at a loss.

Unfortunatly honda/acura has a history of heat related electrical issues.

first i would look into your fuses and relays that power up simular circuits.

also pull all your fuses/ relays out 1 at a time them plug them back in with some electrical contact cleaner and corrosion prevenitave sprayed onto them. auto zone or napa carry battery terminal cleaner and protector sprays that will work just fine.

do that and give it a few days to see if your problem goes away.and lets hope for a corroded fuse terminal.

some of your fuses under the hood my have to be unbolted to remove them. there the ones i suspect the most.

try it and let us know how it goes.

this is a CHEEP fix...and those are the ones to do first (in my book)anyway.

Thank you I will give this a try. The interesting thing, Acura Foreman claims he has never heard of this problem before.
