Changing dome lights, door lights...

Has anyone changed the dome lights and/or door lights to colored bulbs? I'd like to install some blue domes and some purple door lights. Does anyone know:
1) best place to get them
2) any problems that occur with them?
3) what kinds to get (technical specs)
4) legal in Ohio?
