My favorite feature of the TSX is the adaptive transmission where you can use 'shift-mode.' The only problem is that when you get used to driving in M as your usual way of driving, you start just pushing your shifter forward without thinking- as a habit. This is a bad thing when you're in D (auto-mode). This means you take off, then shift to NEUTRAL on accident! Have any of you ever done this? NOT GOOD!
Similarly when, on the other hand, you get used to driving in D, you FORGET to shift when in M. This is what they didn't think of... the HABIT... the only DISadvantage of the adaptive transmission.Edited by: miked8887
