I need help with a 2005 Tsx automatic Ac problem, The ac stopped working a couple of days ago, got a friend of mine who is mechanically inclined to check it out, checked relay, Freon and he said that the compressor has seized, he thinks that the clutch doesn't turn freely which indicates that there are broken pistons,I took it to a mechanic and he tried to turn it by hand and said the same that the Compressor, Dryer and another part has to be changed and the system has to be flushed and recharged.
I tried my self to turn the clutch but it does turn half a turn in either direction and stops, so my question is it definitely a seized compressor or there are other thing that might be the reason for it to stop working.
