Working on 97 Acura TL
Hi Everyone, I'm obviously new here.
i recently purchased a '97 Acura TL w/ the 2.5 for $700 from a friend. It has 188,000 miles on it and needs slight work (Cap and Rotor, New Muffler, and ALOT of body work.). Any suggestions anyone can give me for overall work on a Acura? (This is the first Acura Ive ever owned) |
I have a '96 3.2 with 110K miles...
It has been a fantastic car. The car has held up well and is relatively easy to work on. At 188K, you should check on the last time the timing belt was changed. If it has only been done once, then you should consider getting that done. Other repairs I have done are pretty easy with the exception of replacing the starter motor - had to disassemble the left front suspension to get to it.

I'm trying to remove the distributor cap but one of the heat shields is getting in the way. Do I have to remove it or am I being a re-re?

As far if you want to know about Acura is really a wonderful car but about the technical pars of changing or removing it I don't have hat much idea but I guess its better to check with the mechanic.

I don't have many suggestions. The wheels are only 15 inch. A slightly larger wheel and tire might look better, but then it wouldn't be "original" anymore, would it? |
Hi, i know the best wigs store, most of the pictures are taken from the real wigs made from them.
they also have large collection of designer wigs and you dont need to pay them at designer price. i also purchased my wigs ($99) from that store http://www.thiswigs.com/, just received the wigs! Guess what, they're gorgeous and comfortable fit. love it! |
